CHALLENGE

The Internet Home Alliance, a non-profit organization formed in 2000, was dedicated to accelerating the home technology market. Innovate. Collaborate. Accelerate. These imperatives were at the heart of Internet Home Alliance. Our challenge was to restructure a public and members website that served over 100 member companies and developed over 40 collaborative research projects and pilots. On-going pilot support and development and website maintenance required working closely with key members to ensure that new marketing and technology initiatives were realized, developed and launched.

Working closely with Internet Home Alliance we enhanced the functionality and design, and provided on-going website support through 2006. This leading think tank was formed to explore consumer and business opportunities around the connected home environment. Our web team transformed the website into a collaborative hub for Alliance members, which, among other things, meant providing clear and easy access to other members, research and information resources. Concurrent to integrating new design and messaging to the site, we initiated a comprehensive strategy to develop scalable architecture that seamlessly integrated ecommerce capabilities, streaming video, monthly newsletter, a secure extranet with dynamic tools and an extensive knowledge database organizing research and white papers from the Alliance's extensive document archive—all designed to accelerate Alliance activities and keep members up-to-date.
